We started Trash Can Art with a simple idea — what if the plain, forgotten trash cans lining our streets could become canvases for creativity?

Too often, city bins are overlooked — symbols of what we throw away rather than reflections of what we value. We wanted to change that. By collaborating with local artists and designers, we’re turning everyday waste bins into small but powerful statements of art, culture, and pride.

Each decal we create draws inspiration from the textures, stories, and colors that define our neighborhoods — from murals and mosaics to street posters and architectural lines. The result is a collection of artist- made designs that don’t just decorate a bin — they help beautify our alleyways, sidewalks, and homes, one sticker at a time.

Because when we make space for art in the most ordinary places, our cities — and our lives — feel a little more alive.
